A few days ago, I heard the news that the Classic Aircraft Trust and AIRBASE museum are to move from Coventry Airport to Newquay Cornwall Airport, making use of the facilities at the new Aerohub development. This is good news for me as I live near the airport and I am looking forward to the opportunities to take photos of the aircraft. The CAT has the aim of keeping the aircraft flying and take them to various airshows around the country. Indeed, they were just at the Yeovilton Airday that I attended and I had the opportunity to see the Meteor, Vampire and Venom being displayed. Let’s just say I’m excited 😀
